Mark has a buzz cut, despite having a full head of floppy brunette hair just days earlier. He shared the first three weeks’ results on Instagram, showing him in a pair of shorts with his usual six-pack and now… just a little bloated while lying in bed. How did he get “in shape” to play Father Stuart Long, a boxer-turned-priest in Father Stu? Baby, you’re consuming 7000 calories per day. He had to get shredded for the boxing scene (hence the six-pack) and then bulk up for the rest of the movie. Mark had dreams of eating whatever he wanted while gaining weight carefully under the supervision of doctors and a skilled chef. “I’d like to visit bakeries. I’d like to visit Denny’s. I’d like to order pancakes. During an April Jimmy Kimmel Live! interview, he said, “I want to get everything I can possibly get my hands on.” He hoped to begin with a meal of “20-piece chicken nuggets and 20-piece hot wings from Kentucky Fried Chicken” and a six-pack of beer. I can require the use of a porta-potty as well, but you know what, I’m all set.”

  That didn’t go over well with his nutritionists. Chef Lawrence Duran, on the other hand, feeds him 7000 calories of nutritious food a day, divided into eight meals. That means Mark eats every three hours or so. He explained to E! News, “We do healthy carbohydrates, dark green vegetables, and then just turn up the protein during the day and, at least, a dozen eggs a day.”
